Programme FAQ

Questions parents ask

How big are the groups?

Our programmes typically include 4-8 students. This allows tutors to get to know each student, encourage active participation and provide personalised support throughout every session.

Is my child suited to a small-group programme?

Our programmes are designed for students working towards the same qualification, not those at exactly the same ability. We keep groups small so every student can ask questions, take part and receive support. If we believe 1:1 tutoring would be a better fit, we'll always tell you.

My child lacks confidence or has additional support needs. Will they cope in a group?

Many of our students join feeling anxious, lacking confidence or with additional support needs such as ADHD, autism or dyslexia. Our small-group programmes are designed to be welcoming, supportive and encouraging, with tutors who take the time to get to know each student. We encourage active participation, but we also understand that every child is different. If there is anything we should know to help your child feel comfortable and succeed, we'll discuss this with you during your Parent Consultation.

Our goal is to help every student grow in confidence, not to put them on the spot.

What if my child misses a session?

We understand that life happens. If your child misses a session, we'll provide the lesson materials so they can catch up on what was covered. Our structured programme means each lesson builds on the last, and we're always happy to help students get back on track.

When can my child join?

Most programmes begin at the start of the academic year, although spaces may become available throughout the year. Get in touch to discuss availability and the best starting point for your child.

How do we know if a programme is the right fit?

Book a free Parent Consultation and we'll talk through your child's needs. If a programme is the right fit, we'll explain how it works. If we'd recommend 1:1 tutoring instead, we'll tell you that too.
