Our small-group programme follows the full National 5 course with a practical, hands-on feel, so students see the point of what they're learning and stay engaged all year.

Florence Hill (BA)
Florence is passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a genuine understanding of maths. Drawing on her experience supporting young people in a variety of roles, she creates calm, encouraging lessons where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and growing in confidence.
Applications of Maths questions
How is this different from National 5 Maths?
Applications of Maths focuses on practical, real-world numeracy, finance and data, rather than the more abstract algebra and trigonometry of National 5 Maths. Many students take one or the other.
When does the programme start?
It runs across the school year, ideally joined from the start of term. Get in touch to check availability and current start dates.
Is it a good fit if my child finds maths stressful?
